Q. What makes Port Of Call Gallery so special? A. Port Of Call Gallery is the result of Mrs Anneke Buker-Wirl's passion for the world of interior design, fine art and antiques. For over three decades, she has travelled all around the globe (especially Asia) and chosen some of the most exquisite items for herself and her homes. Since 2000, Mrs Buker-Wirl has worked tirelessly to pass on that sense of style, exclusivity and uniqueness to her loyal clientele, and it is that sense of style, exclusivity and uniqueness that sets Port Of Call Gallery apart. Q. The items displayed in your website gallery are wonderful, but all the ones that I am most interested in are listed as SOLD. What is the reason for this? A. We endeavour to list all of our newest & most unique offerings on our website gallery in order to provide all of our clients with the fullest flavour of what we can offer them and their homes. However, while we try our best to make sure that all our new offerings are available, many of our most exclusive & unique items are claimed before we even have the chance to list them on the website. If you wish to be notified of the arrival of selected items BEFORE they are listed on the Port Of Call Gallery website, please feel free to skip to the Contact page and request that you be added to our exclusive mailling list. We will make sure that you are among the first in line to claim any new arrivals to the gallery. Q. I am interested in the type of items that you offer, but I cannot find an item in your website gallery that meets my specific requirements. Can you still help me? A. We can definitely assist you in your search for the perfect offering. We have a wide network of different sources from which we can find an item that best meets your needs. Feel free to contact us to discuss your requirements. Alternatively, you can book an appointment at the gallery and we will be delighted to talk to you in order to better understand your requirements. Q. I would like to procure one of the items in your gallery, but I am not able to travel to Dubai. Are you able to ship your exhibits outside of the United Arab Emirates? A. In most cases, we are able to ship items from our gallery to your location. However, some of the items on display & in stock are extremely delicate. In these cases, we will give you our honest opinion regarding whether or not the item will survive the shipping process intact. Q. Do you offer discounts? A. Normally, we do not offer discounts. However, some of our clients have - in the past - procured multiple items and have asked for the items to be shipped to other locations. In these cases, we have been able to negotiate reasonable discounts in shipping costs. In turn, we have always passed those savings on to our clients. |
